IGNOU Assignment Status 2026: Not Updated? Proof, Marks & Grade Card

Current guide: An assignment can be submitted correctly and still take time to appear in the online status or Grade Card. The key is to keep proof and verify that the assignment, session, course code and submission method were correct.

Status vs Grade Card

Submission status and Grade Card updates may not appear at the same time. Processing can happen in stages.

If the status is still missing

  1. Keep your submission proof ready.
  2. Check the official assignment/Grade Card services periodically.
  3. Contact the Study Centre or Regional Centre with enrolment number, programme, course code and proof if the delay becomes unreasonable.
  4. Avoid resubmitting blindly unless instructed.

If marks are missing but status shows submitted

Allow for evaluation/processing and then follow up with proof. A missing Grade Card entry does not automatically mean the assignment was rejected.
