IGNOU Grade Card: Check Marks, Status, Missing Updates & Completion

What the Grade Card can show

Depending on the programme/course, the Grade Card may display assignment marks, term-end theory marks, practical marks and completion status. Not every column applies to every course.

How to check

  1. Open the official Grade Card service.
  2. Select the required programme details.
  3. Enter your enrolment number.
  4. Compare every course code with your own registration and submission records.

Why marks may be blank

  • The result or assignment may still be under processing.
  • The component may not apply to that course.
  • Marks may not yet have been uploaded by the responsible unit.
  • A required assignment/practical/project may still be incomplete.

What to do for missing assignment marks

Keep your submission proof, course code, Study Centre/Regional Centre details and submission date. First verify the official Grade Card again after updates; if the issue continues, raise a concise query with evidence.

Grade Card vs final academic record

The online display is an information/status tool and should not be treated as a substitute for the final official academic record issued after all prescribed programme components are completed.
